NANSD Announces 2026 International Convention of Influence in Australia
The National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora (NANSD) has unveiled plans to host the International Convention of Influence for African Students and Youths in Diaspora in Australia in 2026. The announcement was made at the NANSD Secretariat at RMIT University, Melbourne, by the association’s Global President, Comrade Juwon Fayomi.
Event Details and Partnerships
The convention, organised in collaboration with Nigerian Scholars in Australia (NISA), is scheduled to hold from 19 to 21 March 2026 at the RMIT City Campus. The event is receiving institutional backing from the RMIT Centre for African Engagement, reflecting a growing commitment to strengthening African-focused academic and community initiatives in Australia.
Purpose and Expected Participants
According to NANSD, the convention will convene a broad coalition of African students, youth leaders, scholars, policymakers, diplomats, innovators, and development partners from across the global diaspora. The gathering aims to foster collaboration, amplify African perspectives, and deepen diaspora contributions to global development.
