At the recently concluded Award Night of the Biotechnology Students Society of Nigeria (BSSN), FUTA Chapter, our Founder, Christopher B. Olowosoke, and our Laboratory Manager, Benson Okorie, were honoured with the Award of Innovation and Leadership Excellence, respectively. These recognitions highlight their original research contributions, which have led to a patent, as well as their outstanding commitment to student training, mentorship, and operational excellence. Beyond their individual achievements, both leaders continue to impart the next generation of researchers by encouraging and fostering an environment where innovation, discipline, and academic excellence flourish.
